Description
The renovation of the garden in this ground-floor residence, located in the heart of Sant Gervasi, was conceived as an opportunity to transform a sparse and worn-out lawn, affected by limited sunlight, constant humidity, and continuous use.
This challenge turned into an advantage: the garden’s natural freshness allowed for the incorporation of a perimeter of plants that thrive under filtered light.
Begonias, boxwood, hydrangeas, and various types of ferns were carefully arranged and framed with an elegant curved corten steel edging, adding dynamism and modernity to the design.
In the lower area, artificial grass was installed, which, together with the wooden deck terrace, visually expands the space. This multi-level design achieves a balance between functionality and aesthetics, creating the sensation of a larger and more inviting garden.
On the deck, strategically selected potted plants were placed to define boundaries and serve as focal points of decoration. Rows of rosemary next to the iron dining set add a touch of freshness and character, blending seamlessly with the surroundings.
